Trend Spot: Sequins, Zipper + Fringe...

Phillip Lim pulls together one fabulous collection for Spring 2009. His designs are so intrinsic and creative that it's a mash up of 1970's fringe, 1980's zipper and 1980's sequins, just to name a few. His collection is so highly desired that I've become the mad scavenger on the hunt for vintage sequenced numbers. I found an amazing gold + black piece in new york that I can't wait to put on... Rock With U: PPQ

PPQ London Fall 2008 is a bit rocked-out yet trendy enough for some blog attention... I'm not quite sure why this collection is rated for fall, but I give it 5-STARS because it's London innovation, and I would rock some of these pieces proudly. Take notes children: wool socks + platforms, satin + lace kimono jumper, tulle ruffle dress. Darling! ;-)

Doo-Ri jodphur pants hot!






Doo-Ri Chung, has a fixation for lace-ups and I am her biggest fan! She also has a super fly jersey trouser harem pant for Spring 2009, that's so *hot* it's going to break my pockets for a pair... (I'm not sure I can live my life without them.)

I can't get over how hot these Gucci stacked platforms are! And peep the ankle rolled skinny trousers... a sexy sneak peek into Gucci Spring 2009...

Dear Chloe...

I suppose that paisley chiffon dresses and blouses are about as business savvy as you can get this season. And Paulo Melim-Andersson's fall Chloe collection is just as pretty as can be. Micro-flower prints and embroidery tights, paired with pointy-toe stilettos with an ankle cuff, to die for! I need those in my life... And then there's the booties with 3-D leaves sort of like ivy moving up the shoe, clever; very clever... Another favorite is the wool fall jacket with the crop sleeves and fur lined neck, and the sequin embroidery on the jacket, just stunning, exudes elegance.... Melin Anderson makes this collection all about cobalt blue, teal, oyster, periwinkle, plum, gray, black, hints of sage and buttercup, beige, pearl and lavender exuding an appearance of gathering midnight stars with all of the details and floral combinations... & I ♥ !!

Spring Trend: Harem Pants

So tell me, yes to Harem pants or no to them? I feel like if they're worn as trouser pants (sort of dressed up) it could definitely be a hot look! I'll be on the hunt for some street style snapshots of hot ways to wear them up until spring 2009, so this topic isn't finished!
