Absolutely in ♥ with Alexander Koutny! His A/W 2009-2010 look book is loaded with great contrasting. Lately, I feel deeply connected to blends of dark and pure color combinations. There is something subtly endearing about timeless sophistication and ethereal shapes like his. This winning collection straddles the cusp of genius and simplicity. I am especially loving on the sheer pieces and mostly the rich detailing in every garment. Movement and fluidity are key elements here and to my surprise, I was unable to find documentation on inspiration for this trend focus. However, I like that Koutny leaves it up to the seeker, I find it rather brilliant! For stockists info, visit his glory/website. xx
Mr. Scott keeps his focus vintage and sporty with his circa 1990's interpretation of athletic wear. Jeremy throws in his modern take on pop culture in his outrageous sense of color and patterns.... I can always find unfiltered inspiration in his design capacity...Adoring the Jeremy Scott Fall 2009 A.D.I.D.A.S. Originals by Originals collection/Lookbook. I find it Euro-club kid chic, with a splash of cartoon couture...there is one thing that's for sure, and Jeremy Scott knows how to stay in his lane. The wing tipped sneakers are truly original! Tres` chic magnifique! ♥
This set is both spectacular and stunning! May 2009 issue of I-D Magazine features an original illusory photo story of double vision. Photographic layers mesh movement and still frames together, to counter act a vintage and timeless feeling. For me, this captures an essence of epic art and i find this series in total, quite unforgettable...♥
Vogue China pays homage to science-fiction for August 2009. I adore the over-accentuated shoulders, the tribal jewelry, the movement, and the architecture... this is a killer series! ♥

Acne brings the Spring/Summer 2010 lookbook up a notch with a wearable warrior inspired collection that I can't take my eyes off of. Armored denim, fringes, rugged tee's, metal, skinnies, 70's rock chic, a sprinkle of early 1980's punk rock... totally untouchable. Makes me wonder whose gonna be the 1st person to jump on this trend first? ;)
Highlighting a tremendous moment in fashion history, design label Luxirare creates a spectacular tribute to the late great Michael Jackson with this fly collection of multiple buckled jackets, and leggings. MJ's consistent fashion forward style and unorthodox sense of individuality will forever influence fashion trends. Will there ever be 1 quite so epic? Is this the last great fashion moment in history as we now see it? In the meantime, let's not worry about it. At least we have Luxirare to admire...click here.♥
Illusions are attached to every living thing, plant, cell, feeling, emotion, and are a part of our DNA. These surreal photographic illusions, illustrate a sense of duality in it's greatest artistic form. The mirror effect is captivating. I find this series inspiring and full of imagination and surreality. ♥
This is a phenomenal editorial series for Flair Italy Magazine. Absolutely brilliant art direction. I'm inspired by the energy channeled by super diva Colette staring as "Billy Badass" in a vintage inspired photographic collection. The vintage hot rod is quite a sexy addition....♥ x
As you may know, I am a fan of innovation in fashion and design. Japanese designer "Yokoo" is my latest crush when it comes to knitwear and accessories...these are some true 'statement' pieces...♥ You can view more items here. xx
