Knock Your Socks Off

Burberry Prorsum is feeding my obsession with socks quite plentifully for the Spring 2009 countdown. The styling is a bit 'bag lady chic'... yet I still think it's quite adorable in all of it's hoboesqueness! The muted tones, the earth girl influences worn as sportswear is clever and not overdone. Yet I'm still not sure the floppy hats make the cut for me. I do ♥ the over-sized neck pieces, how they drape and where they hang on the torso... it's a very sophisticated touch. And yes, it was the *socks* that took most of my attention, the neck gear and the socks. Christopher Bailey (designer) did fantastic with the merchandising and the accessories, knocks my socks off!
