Hands down, Sandra Backlund predominates the knitwear designer sphere of innovation & does it with pure intelligence. Distorting and transforming the human silhouette by way of fabric manipulation is something she lives for.... The enormous thing that separates Backlund from any other knitwear designer is that she considers herself more of a sculptor, than a designer & season by season she embodies this theory. A rare mix of conceptualization and raw talent makes for a lasting ingredient for success! I am a huge supporter of Sandra Backlund...
