Vogue U.K brings vibrancy and color in a carnival editorial called, "Trail Blazers" for March 2009. Stunning and reminding me of a Brazilian vacation I've yet to travel, this fashion story instantly pulled me in... As well, I must mention I am a huge admirer of Mario Testino. His range of photographic images are purely captivating... the styling is a dream, along with the scenery... these locations are simply imaginary in a beautiful, nearly unreal setting. Amazingly, this issue represents the U.K and reminds me of a lost land in Peru. In addition the fashion statements conveyed here, insist that we layer on the textures and colors for Spring 2009... it is all about colors worn to an extreme. Enjoy!! x
Mario Testino's Photography exhibit is in London from July 3rd - July 29th at 'Phillips de Pury & Company' in London. ... Testino is very famous for his celebrity fashion imagery, along with some of his work for leading fashion brands such as: Gucci, Burberry, Calvin Klein, and Versace. His style can be recognized for it's color saturation and the energy that comes out of the pictures. Mario's body of work can be seen in magazines such as American Vogue, British and French Vogue, Vanity Fair, Visionaire, and The Face... 32 prints from his phenomenal body of work are featured in the exhibit, and all of them are available to buy.
