Geometry Lessons

This phenomenal editorial spread called"Attitudes For Edgy Times" illustrates angular silhouettes of shapes and size as it relates to high fashion. The edgy attitude applies geometry inspired by the designs alone. The wardrobe in this edgy series relates to 'attitude' as society reflects constant change in fashion and history. These intoxicating pieces are represented in the January 2009 issue of Tush Magazine reflecting the properties of geometry (as a whole) in the shape of the designs, and the poses performed. Stunning and conceptual work!

Manipulating Light

Tush Magazine celebrates it's 13th issue by way of this fabulous editorial, "Way Ray"... It is all about a bold illustration of light and darkness manipulated by shadowing effects and stark makeup contrasting. There is something quite endearing about the composition between black and white... and the balance in between. Bravo to this stellar team!! x

Odd Proportions: Headgear!

This elaborate “chapeaux-a-porter” editorial featured in Tush Magazine (issue #15) is where inspiration is made for me... This February 2009 article is by far one of the most clever beauty stories I've seen this month. I am blown away by the breathtaking imagery below... From the odd proportions of the headgear to the lego cap and the faux-hawk to the flowering head-wrap and the safety first white riding helmet... there is a beautiful flow to the excessive size of these head-pieces... and I am ♥ing the story in all of it's peculiar beauty.
