Erdem brings the flower power for Fall 08. I am *strung out* over the artistic tie dye cocktail dresses and floor length frocks... the bursting color is so vintage, yet so right now... and the painter's effect that Erdem showcase this season is one with little competition... Erdem (based out of London, England by way of Montreal, Canada) enforces art by re-creating an 'oil on canvas' look by using silk fabrics (rather than an actual canvas...) Erdem's Fall 2008 contemporary wardrobe is all about oversized flower's, massive necks, and over-exaggerated prints designed in: satin + lace + silk. What could be more feminine? Then, there's the floor sweeping goddess gowns that take me back to "I Dream of Genie" (with a modern touch) + Honestly, what could be better than dreams becoming a reality right? Erdem is quite the dream for me at the moment... ♥
+ this last look, is totally separate from the rest, but oohh would you look at that neckline? wow!!!
