This season
House of Holland comes to
London Fashion Week with a lust for punk rock. Label designer Henry Holland coveted to display his love for Scotland in his
mad for plaid demonstration. Though somehow, he forgot the bagpipes! Oh but tricky designer he is, Holland gave us plaid antlers instead. (heehe!) I
suppose there is a hint of humor
and amusement in Holland's collection,
yet he comes equally with a story to tell. The platform lace-ups with bright yellow and blue shoe strings are quite innovative. And though I give a thumbs up for 'plaid' (I'm not sure I'm interested in seeing
repeat blue, green, and yellow plaid fabric throughout the entire 27 piece collection.) Switch it up a bit, I still give it to
Holland for interpreting his side to the Scottish tale. Yet, maybe there's a side that could have been a bit less outspoken?

Moving along, some of these runway pieces I would rock proudly.
And then there's some....well, let's just say look like he went
scissor happy! Whatever Henry's motivation, I know his label is very successful overseas, London especially. After all, Henry is a
designer by accident. Coming into the game as a former writer for the Teen Mag, "Bliss"... and well, in this industry, it *is* all about who you know, but I'm not saying... well, actually...maybe I am ;-)
