Countdown: London Fashion Week...

London fashion week is coming, and I need to brace myself! (Being that I planned my trip too late in the month, unfortunately I will miss the extravaganza that is London Fashion Week...) however, I will be tuned in giving fresh reports on the hottest trends for the next season to come (in advance) so I strongly urge you to pay close attention my friends.. London Fashion Week is showcasing Catwalk for Spring 2009 beginning September 14-19th...



Besides, this blog is all about a keen eye for spotting trends before they hit America (i.e., trend forecasting) and London Fashion Week has a perfect line up of talent and one of the designers, I'm really feeling is Bora Asku, a designer from Turkey that moved to London 14 years ago. He's won Topshop's Next Generation sponsorship 4 times in a row. This is Bora's 11th show at London Fashion Week, showcasing Fall/Winter 2008 and his catwalk will take place on September 19th at 10:45 p.m.














My most favorite London designer for Fall 2008 (by a landslide) is the collection of Ashish, named after the designer Ashish Gupta. His stunning collection is to be said that it's inspiration comes from two things: disco music and folk embroidery. His collection can be described as sexy, glamorous and sporty... apparently, he's a fan of 'H Lorenzo' (L.A boutique) which means we have something in common. ;-)
