Beyonce` Steps UP To The Fashion Plate

Sure, this may be OLD news to some of you fashion purveyors around the globe, but it's still relevant news, being how I've touched on the "Gareth Pugh" topic a lot lately. Beyonce is inadvertently stepping up her fashion game, and taking her label choices to couture and high fashion designers. Yet this move is causing a bit of controversy to us fashion purveyors around the globe. Her recent choice of Gareth Pugh, a perfect example indeed. I love to see musicians grow and mature into style stars, and take new fashion risks. As we can see below, Beyonce is channeling a new spin on her (at times chastised 'too safe' fashion choices). I see her taking a bit of a *lead* role in channeling her individual style. Using emerging and indie designers rather than opting to utilize a commercial appeal. To be honest, I rarely looked twice at her 'House of Dereon' collection, (as it's not my personal style) but I *do* applaud her on taking a new image approach. It's a relevant part of growing as an artist. Perhaps she's ready to showcase her individual trendsetting capabilities with all of her personal and professional growth? Bravo babygirl! I ♥ it! And your personal thoughts are? As for me, I feel Beyonce` has the kind of curves that every woman loves to HATE. lol! She is honestly, my ideal shape to design for. I love all the grown woman curves... and she's rocking Gareth Pugh proudly adding even more dimension to his shapely pieces. Thus, helping make his collection even more dynamic. Besides, he's getting mad love too, so you really can't hate, y'all. Despite what anyone else has to say, I ♥ !

I LOVE Gareth Pugh, so innovative...BUT, Beyonce is a bore, and look like a bore in the clothes. She has the face and curves, but not the personality to pull clothes off like that.

I agree, she isn't ready for these clothes, it's so not her and her music certainly doesn't go with her music, If I was a boy doesn't go with that Gareth Pugh Dress not at all!!!!

Well, one thing I do have to say is that I agree with "nads" the 2nd look in the gray & black superhero dress, I'm not feeling the hair. I would have rocked it architectural looking, artistic, and slicked upward in some kind of bun. & of course with some super FLY tights of some sort. How are the shoes? That's what I want to see is what shoes did she rock? Anyone know?
