Iceberg lights up the runways in Milan with hints of neon to set off the bright trend that we will soon see more of for Fall 2009. I'm noticing several key looks in Iceberg's cohesive collection, up for discussion and quite a priority. One factor to look forward to is volume. Lot's of volume. Next, sequins take a rather drastic turn and begin to transform into larger shapes appearing quite scale-y. Fish scale fashion is a new hit! Adding a twist to the next trend, "over-sized knitwear" - Iceberg sets a cool tone to the color wheel. The bend-worthy focus for Fall is dark and moody, supported by bright accessories. Outer-wear is voluminous and knits are chunky and avant garde. Fur is overdone, and clearly not for everyone, yet with multiple layers a smashing focus, a great element to balance the extreme puff, is the next big shape for A/W 2009, and that is body-con all the way. ♥ x
