Gareth Pugh

Conceptualization at its pique raises the bar with Gareth Pugh's gothic meets space genie spring 2010 collection. Paris Fashion Week is such a big hit for trendsetting and transformation. Pugh doesn't cease to surprise even the most fluent fashion enthusiasts with a lust for setting a trend on the edge of individuality using a formula of 2-D designs in stark contrasting and tribal influences. The superhero capes and fish-scale like slashes in the tailoring is authentic and space age next level. ♥

Young Love

Recent graduate from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Eva Nyiri newly implements her mark on the fashion world by way of space and futurism. This collection, entitled, “Black on Black“ was inspired by Ancient Samurai armor and modern Transformers. Nyiri, a young Hungarian designer hopes to continue to develop her next collection based on the success of this one. Her direction is solely fluid, innovative, and quite structural in appearance with removable pieces to create a complete radical approach. Her imagination creates an unlimited design thesis off which to build, and I hope to see more avant garde collections in the future! ♥

Celebrating the Life of Michael Jackson-

Michael Jackson was elected 1st most charitable human being ever in the Guiness book of world records. May God Bless him and his family. There is a feeling of sadness in my heart at his departure...every childhood musical memory I have is wrapped around the legend that is "MJ." A piece of my life has been etched away and cannot be replaced. It's like a vase that breaks a few times, get's glued back together to then discover the final time that there is no more fixing it. It just is. Sometimes you just have to let things go. I will miss the magical energy of Michael Jackson. I know that in my lifetime, there won't be anyone 'Greater'. If while there was still more time, MJ could have established the very first [ever to exist] android clone of himself...Imagine. Then we could at least live on knowing that Michael Jackson had the capacity to live forever. Yet and still his spirit will always live through his music but now there is a future gap. To hear that Michael Jackson died still doesn't register to my 'general thinking'...it has literally taken me extended days to grasp on the reality that MJ no longer exists in the physical plane. He has moved on having reached his mastered evolution and the highest level of ascension. I believe MJ now has the gift of ultimate peace and infinite bliss, and so I praise his music, and celebrate his life, his gifts, and contributions to humanity... A blessed and enriched life is to have lived knowing you were personally influenced, and affected by the gift of Michael Jackson. Thank you God. May he forever rest in Peace. xxxx we have another angel to add to the 1,111,000. xx

For The Not So Privileged

Is space-age fashion the new future of fashion inspiration? Or is it is just my imagination? My new favorite futuristic fashion-forward design duo happens to be Berlin based label " Scherer Gonzalez." The luxury materials range from silk, leather, and satin with extraordinary detailing in pleats, lacing and boning. The highlighting factor in this collection is definitely the posterior enhancement. Gonzalez's superb tailoring is very sculptural and designed specifically to enhance the female form which I love. But if you are Beyonce, please do not over-enhance the already enhanced curves. These pieces are strictly for those without. And furthermore I am absolutely delighted that these pieces are android futuristic yet still quite functional.
